Ray Levin (vcard)
A lifelong Brooklynite, Ray has had a long and varied career in city government, starting as a planner in the Brooklyn Borough office of the Department of City Planning, and serving as Director of the Coney Island Planning and Development Office. He also served as Counsel and Board of Estimate representative for Brooklyn Borough President Howard Golden. Prior to joining Slater & Beckerman in 2013, Ray was an attorney with Wachtel Masyr & Missry.
Ray is on the board of directors of the DUMBO Business Improvement District and on the Friends Council of Celebrate Brooklyn. Ray has also chaired several committees and subcommittees of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York County Lawyers Association.
Ray obtained a BA in Architecture from the City College of New York with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1970, and his J.D. magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School in 1984.
